For almost 30 years, Jon Hawk has dedicated his legal career to helping injured individuals and families throughout Georgia pursue justice and financial recovery after serious accidents. As the founder and managing attorney of Hawk Injury Law, he focuses his practice on automobile accidents, commercial trucking accidents, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death claims.

Jon has tried more than 55 jury trials to verdict and has represented clients in courtrooms across Georgia. His extensive courtroom experience allows him to effectively advocate for clients both during settlement negotiations and at trial when insurance companies refuse to offer fair compensation.

Before founding Hawk Injury Law, Jon was a partner at Sell & Melton, LLP. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable insight into insurance company defense strategies gaining experience that continues to benefit the clients he represents today.

Jon earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1997 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Appalachian State University. He is also a 2018  graduate of the prestigious Trial Lawyers College, an intensive program focused on advanced trial advocacy and courtroom skills.

In addition to representing injury victims, Jon has served as an Adjunct Instructor for Mercer University's Mock Trial Team and has spoken at legal seminars across the country on topics including automobile accident litigation, wrongful death cases, trial advocacy, and lien resolution.

Jon serves on the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central & Southwest Georgia, is an active member of the North Macon Rotary Club, and he and his wife, Fran, are active members of First Presbyterian Church of Macon.
